CLAIR SAPILEWSKI is a rising junior at American University in Washington, D.C. pursuing majors in Journalism and Photography as well as a minor in Environmental Science.
She is interested in science and environmental journalism after college. She photographs events and places around D.C., as well as sports games. Clair writes stories for the student newspaper The Eagle, and wrote for The NDB Catalyst in high school. She has over 60 stories published across publications, and has received Journalism Education Association awards for her articles in The Catalyst.
Clair is originally from Redwood City, California. She enjoys scuba diving, running, origami, and landscape photography.
